It's all about Tweed

I produced this tree covered in tweed as part of a window display for Cordings. Starting off with some light weight tree branches I shaped the tree by cutting and reattaching the branches back to the main stem then padded the entire structure with wadding and tweed fabric in order to keep it as light as possible.
The material was just wrapped around it. I added some flowers to create interest.  The tree measures approximately 2.5 meters by 2 meter wide, it sits at an angle on a wooden base screwed to the floor. The padding helped maneuvering the tree during transport and installation.
