The Ascot
window for Bates this year is a combination of props and products from various
people including the lovely ladies hats from Atelier Millinery; champagne,
baskets and caviar tins kindly provided by Caviar House and, of course, plenty
of Bates top hats and accessories.
You can only get a glimpse of the rail, finishing post and background image, which sits in the back behind the products. In my opinion the various props and merchandise are overpowering as they spread right across the entire space of this small window, thus loosing the initial impact of the Ascot’s action scene. Well that’s what happens when you are trying to please everyone.
