Lola's Apothecary

On a trip to Devon I worked on a photo shoot for Lola’s Apothecary. This young and up and coming company produces bath and body oils using the best natural ingredients and sells them to top retailers such as Coco de Mer, Not on the High Street and Bouf.

I was pretty much involved with the art direction, location and the styling of the shoot for Lola’s Christmas and winter campaign. The brief was to introduce warmth, ambience and mood whilst remaining loyal to the core of brand: natural country lifestyle. After a walk around the farm in Devon where Lola lives, we decided that the best 3 locations for this shoot would be the log shed for the Christmas gifts sets, the green house for the group product and the fireplace for the moody product presentation. We took advantage of the natural light for most shots as the sun was giving a sparkle to the glass bottles. For the rest of the shots we created a dark cosy environment using the rusty greenhouse and the wooden fire as a background.
